— From Your Photos to Their Portrait —
Step One
Place Your Order
Choose your piece and complete your payment at checkout. You can pay in full, or start with a Lay-Buy down payment of 30%, 40%, or 50% — whichever suits you best. Either way, your commission slot is secured from the moment payment is received and we'll be in touch within 24 hours.
Using Lay-Buy? Your creation begins as soon as your down payment clears. Remaining instalments are collected automatically each month, and your finished piece is dispatched once your balance is paid in full. You can also settle early at any time for faster delivery.
Step Two
Share Your Pet's Photos
Within 24 hours of your order, we'll reach out to gather your pet's photos. The more you share, the better — photos from different angles, moods, and moments all help Amy capture who they truly were.
A clear front-facing photo is especially important. This helps Amy accurately capture your pet's features, colouring, and expression. Natural daylight photos tend to work best, but please send everything you have — we want to see them from every angle.
If your photos are older or lower resolution, don't worry. Amy uses AI technology to restore and enhance them where possible, helping bring out the detail needed to create a piece that truly looks like your pet.
Step Three
Amy Gets to Work
Once your photos are received, Amy begins. Every portrait and sculpture is made entirely by hand — fibre by fibre, layer by layer — using premium Australian merino wool. We'll send you updates at key stages so you can watch your piece coming to life.
Each creation is one of a kind. Once made for you, the design is never repeated.

✦ Upgraded to Memory World?
If you've added a Memory World Sanctuary, Amy will also be handcrafting your pet's botanical landscape during this period — preserved moss, dried flowers, and natural elements. Everything is assembled together in the final week before dispatch.
Step Four
Your Final Review
When your portrait or sculpture is complete, we'll send you photos for your review. Take your time — if anything doesn't look right, let us know and Amy will make adjustments.
Once you're happy and give the go-ahead, Amy will complete the finishing touches. After this point, the piece cannot be changed — so please share any concerns before approving.
Step Five
Delivered to You
Once your final payment has been received, your piece is carefully packaged and dispatched. Wool Felt Portraits are packed securely in a protective box. Wool Felt Sculptures are packaged in a square box designed to protect every detail from any pressure during transit.
Every order ships free across Australia with tracking, and includes a handwritten aftercare card to help you care for your piece for generations to come.

Can I use Lay-Buy for my order?
Yes! At checkout you can choose a Lay-Buy payment plan — pay a down payment of 30%, 40%, or 50% and spread the rest over 1 or 2 monthly instalments with no interest and no late fees. A one-off 1.9% admin fee applies at checkout. See our Lay-Buy Terms page for full details.
Can I see progress updates during creation?
Yes — we send photos at key stages throughout the creation process so you can see your piece coming to life.
What if I don't have great photos of my pet?
Send what you have. Amy uses AI technology to restore and enhance older or lower-quality images where possible. The clearer the reference, the closer the likeness — but we'll always work with what you've got.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within Australia only, ensuring every piece arrives safely and within a predictable timeframe.
What if my piece arrives damaged?
In the rare event your piece arrives damaged, contact us immediately with photos and we'll work with you to resolve it. All shipments are fully tracked and insured.
